Ubitel sends informational SMS messages to subscribers about app subscription status. These terms describe how to opt in, opt out, get help, and how often you can expect messages.
1. About This SMS Program
Program name: Ubitel Subscription Updates.
We send informational SMS messages to subscribers about their Ubitel app subscription status — for example, account notifications, password resets, two-factor authentication codes, and customer-care replies. We do not send marketing or promotional messages on this program.
2. How to Opt In
To subscribe, text the keyword START (or YES) from your mobile device to +1 (302) 445-8548. By sending the keyword, you agree to receive SMS informational updates from Ubitel as described on this page.
Once we receive your opt-in keyword, your number is recorded and you will receive this confirmation SMS: “You have agreed to receive SMS updates from Ubitel. Msg freq may vary. Std msg & data rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
By opting in you acknowledge: message frequency may vary; standard message and data rates may apply; you can reply STOP to opt out at any time; you can reply HELP for assistance. We will not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
3. Opting Out — Reply STOP
Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message at any time to opt out. You will receive a final confirmation message: “Ubitel: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages from us. Reply HELP for assistance.”
After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from this program.
4. Getting Help — Reply HELP
Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You will receive this reply: “Ubitel: For help, reply HELP or email support@ubi.tel or visit https://ubi.tel. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Ubitel does not charge a fee for the messages themselves; any charges come from your mobile carrier.
7. Privacy
Ubitel will not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors performing services on our behalf (for example, message delivery via our SMS provider) is permitted to operate the program.

8. User-to-User Messaging
Ubitel also provides each account holder with a personal phone number so they can send and receive SMS messages to and from anyone in their contacts, directly from the Ubitel app. This is a separate program from the account-notification messages described above.
How users opt in. By creating a Ubitel account and accepting these terms, the account holder is assigned a phone number and consents to send and receive SMS via Ubitel's platform.
Acceptable use. User-to-user messaging is for personal, non-commercial conversation only. Marketing, promotional, bulk, automated, fraudulent, harassing, illegal, or direct-lending/lead-generation messages are prohibited. Ubitel may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that receive spam reports from recipients or carriers.
Recipient opt-out. A recipient who replies STOP to a Ubitel user's message will be unsubscribed from messages from that specific user's number. Ubitel enforces this per-sender opt-out at the platform level. The recipient can resume the conversation by replying START. Recipients can reply HELP at any time and will receive Ubitel contact information.
Message frequency and rates. Message frequency is determined by user activity. Standard message and data rates may apply for both the sender and the recipient.
Privacy. Ubitel processes messages and contact information solely to deliver the service. Mobile information from this program will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
